The CW has ordered a pilot for a reboot of Charmed, which originally ran from 1998 to 2006. The series will be produced by Jennie Snyder Urman who most recently produced Jane the Virgin.
The new Charmed will have a totally new cast, the storyline is about three witches who come together to fight evil in a New England town in 1976.
Some reports say that this version of the show will be a reimagining, but others are saying that it is more like a prequel to the series than ran before.
The original Charmed starred Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty, and Rose McGowan. Some of the ladies have already Tweeted about their support. Alyssa Milano shared:
