The following article contains spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War.

Mark Ruffalo is known for his inability to keep quiet about plot twists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, it seems as though the actor, who plays Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the MCU, actually revealed the ending to Avengers: Infinity War last summer during the D23 Expo.

In an interview with Good Morning America, Ruffalo, joined by fellow Avenger James Rhodes/War Machine (played by Don Cheadle), spoils the entire finale of Infinity War. Even though Cheadle coolly tries to encourage Ruffalo not to disclose too many details, the actor fails to keep a lid on the most crucial parts of the movie.

“I wouldn’t say too much, but you can say as much as you want,” Cheadle remarks as Ruffalo attempts to slyly explain what audiences can expect in Infinity War. “I mean, hey, it’s your career.”

“Let me just say this like every other Marvel movie, it doesn’t end well for the superheroes,” Ruffalo says.

Of course, Ruffalo doesn’t stop there.

“Wait till you see this next one!” Ruffalo exclaims about Infinity War. “Everybody dies!”

“Dude!” Cheadle responds to his co-star.

“…Not everybody, no.” Ruffalo says in an attempt to correct himself and undo the major spoiler he just spilled on camera.

Ruffalo realizes how he totally blew it and attempted to backtrack with little success, as Cheadle uncomfortably shuffles in his seat, knowing that The Hulk just smashed all of the secrecy surrounding the 19th Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

Even though MCU fans waited for ten years to find out if Thanos successfully obtains all six of the Infinity Stones and accomplishes his mission to wipe out half of the galaxy’s population, Ruffalo ruined the entire movie in less than a minute. It would seem that Ruffalo’s mouth is almost as destructive to the MCU as Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet.
