The Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has officially added Zoe Kravitz to the list of the growing cast. The Warner Brother’s film also stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Jenn Murray, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Gemma Chan, and the newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove.

Fantastic Beasts is set 70 years prior to when the Harry Potter series takes place. Eddie Redmayne was cast as Newt Scamander, a Magizoologist who writes a book about witches and wizards. The book that he ends up writing ultimately ends up as a textbook at Hogwart’s, which of course is the school that the entire Harry Potter series is based at.

Zoe’s role in the film is reportedly a very small one, but there is the possibility that she will return for the sequel to the film which has already been scheduled for release November 16 2018.

Other recent roles for Zoe include the blockbusters Divergent franchise and Mad Max: Fury Road, as well as indie films Dope and Vincent N Roxxy.

The screenplay for Fantastic Beasts was written by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, and the film is being directed by David Yates who also directed the Harry Potter films.
