Former NFL player Johnny Manziel has been reported missing in New York. The former quarterback had travel plans to take a helicopter from Manhattan to the Hampton’s on May 28 but he never turned up for the ride and has not been seen since.

He never answered his phone after missing the ride, and was expected by many as he had plans to host a get together for friends and family.

Sources are saying that just a day before he went missing he got into an altercation with the person who he’s been renting his car from. On Friday he and friends reportedly crashed the Mercedes, and the owner confronted him outside of Trump Soho about payments that he was still owed.

The car’s owner Wayne Schneider recently said:

“He’s not paying for nothing. He’s been dodging for a month-and-a-half.”

It is unclear what if anything came from the altercation, but it is not the first time that Johnny has been involved in some controversy. He was indicted for a domestic violence incident in January when he allegedly assaulted his ex girlfriend Colleen Crowley and threatened both of their lives.

His NFL career has been at risk because of this and other controversial incidents.
