Is this the month of breakups or what? Another celebrity couple finds themselves parting ways this September.
Just yesterday, Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks confirmed that they are no longer a couple. We were shocked when we heard that the pair were done for good, as he wrote Marry Me about her.
Reports are saying that the couple’s conflicting schedules put a major strain on their relationship.
Others are saying that although the pair had been dating since Sept. 2011, Jason wasn’t ready to settle down.
Supposedly, Jason was afraid that if they did marry and fall out of love that Jordin would get half of all his earnings. He began thinking of the financial strains, rather than what it would be like to be in love with her.
Sources say, that Jason wished he and Jordin’s relationship was like Jay Z and Beyonce’s where they both have equally successful careers.
Money over love? Someone must have put that idea into Jason’s head.
We’re told the breakup between the American Idol star and R&B singer was amicable. Sources close to the couple are saying that they still care very deeply for each other and will remain in each other’s lives as friends.
They always looked so adorable on the red carpet together. We’re sad to hear that the pair have split, but we wish the best for them in the future.
Well, seems like we should start calling this month Splitsville September.
