It’s unlikely that you’ve ever thought to yourself, gee there should be more footage of the Kardashians circling around, but if so you’re in luck. The family is reportedly being offered $100 million to make their very own movie.
The feature would star Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, and take place in both Los Angeles and New York in the same type of storylines they do on the show, but longer, and also real acting.
According to Ian Halperin, who is the author of the book Kardashian Dynasty:
“A top Hollywood studio executive told me today that his major studio intends to make a huge offer to the Kardashian family to star in a feature-length film. The studio’s research showed the Kardashians could become the highest TV-show-turned-movie ever.”
Ian went on to say that the movie has the potential to make twice as much as the first Sex and the City film, which pulled in $500 million in 2008.
Friends close to the family say that they are “very interested about graduating to the big screen.” (Of course.)
As if this wasn’t already big enough news, here’s where it gets even weirder. Supposedly George Clooney, Jimmy Fallon, and Charlize Theron are in talks to also be in the movie.
