Yesterday, TMZ released video footage of critically-acclaimed actor, Paul Sorvino, discussing his thoughts on former Hollywood bigwig, Harvey Weinstein. The harsh words come as a reaction to Weinstein’s treatment of Mira Sorvino, an Academy Award-winning actress and Paul’s daughter.

In an interview with Ronan Farrow for The New Yorker last year, Mira Sorvino detailed sexually inappropriate behavior Weinstein demonstrated while she was promoting Mighty Aphrodite in the mid-90s. “He started massaging my shoulders, which made me very uncomfortable, and then tried to get more physical, sort of chasing me around,” Sorvino described of an incident with Weinstein in a Toronto hotel room. Directors Peter Jackson and Terry Zwigoff both shared accounts of Harvey and Bob Weinstein attempting to besmirch Mira Sorvino in an attempt to blacklist the hugely talented actress.

TMZ reporters caught up with Paul Sorvino in a grocery store parking lot to discuss Mira’s accusations against Weinstein. He stated he was unaware of Weinstein’s actions. “My daughter’s … a courageous and a wonderful human being, and doesn’t deserve to have been treated that way by this pig,” Sorvino stated. “This pig will get his comeuppance. The law will get him. He’s going to go to jail and die in jail.”

But that wasn’t all Sorvino had to say on the matter. “If I meet [Weinstein] on the street — he oughta hope that he goes to jail, because if we come across, I think he’ll be lying on the floor, somehow, magically,” Paul Sorvino told TMZ, adding, “He’s going to go to jail. Oh yeah. That son of a bitch. Good for him if he goes, because if not, he has to meet me. And I will kill the motherf***er. Real simple.”
