The production of two upcoming BBC projects have been put on pause following the sexual assault allegations against Ed Westwick. Two women have come forward claiming that the Gossip Girl actor raped them and the LAPD is currently looking into the situation.

Ed has reportedly stepped out of the series White Gold, and an Agatha Christie special called Ordeal Of Innocence has been taken off the upcoming airing schedule.

The BBC made it clear that they don’t know whether the allegations are true or not, but they have to take precautions in the meantime.

“These are serious allegations which Ed Westwick has strenuously denied. The BBC is not making any judgement but until these matters are resolved we will not include Ordeal by Innocence in the schedules. The independent production company making White Gold has informed us that Ed Westwick has paused from filming while he deals with these allegations.”

On Monday actress Kristina Cohen shared her assault story via social media, and on Tuesday Ed denied knowing her. Then an official police report was filed, followed by a second similar story about non consensual sex from a woman named Aurélie Wynn. Both of the women said they didn’t come forward before because they feared the repercussions for doing so.
