Wendy Williams is speaking out about the incident where she collapsed on-air last week. Wendy was dressed as the statue of liberty for Halloween when she passed out on her self titled show. Now she has explained that her doctors told her that dehydration caused the incident and that she is fine now.

When the incident occurred people were unsure about what was happening. After Wendy collapsed the live taping was sent to commercial, but some people thought it was fake. Others thought she might be having a stroke or something.

Wendy explained that she started feeling very hot and knew that she was about to faint. Her concerns in that moment included falling safely so that she didn’t crack open her head, as well as falling pretty since she happened to be on live TV.

She must have known that she was dehydrated because she was drinking electrolyte water that day, but it didn’t seem to be enough to prevent the collapse. She has continued to thanks her fans for their support following the incident.

“I want to thank you all for your tweets and your flowers. I got all of your well wishes … even the haters, because you motivate me.”
