Wes Anderson has directed an H&M holiday commercial called “Come Together,” starring Adrian Brody. Adrian is a regular in the films that Wes has directed in the past, which include The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, and The Royal Tenenbaums.

The storyline of the commercial takes place on Christmas eve, with Adrian conducting a train that is taking people home to their families for the holiday. The snowy weather threatens to keep them arriving.

Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M’s Head of Design and Creative Director released a statement about the project.

“The winter train ride, under Wes Anderson’s direction, is the perfect setting for H&M’s holiday collection full of relaxed, wearable elegance. It’s about mixing the informal with a sense of occasion, capturing the holiday mood for both dressing up and getting cozy with loved ones.”

Adrian added that “This story may resonate more than ever at a time in the world where we could all do with giving a stranger a hug.”
