Sometimes a movie scene is so well put together that you end up submerged to the point where you can’t even hear the pizza guy knocking at the door, let alone notice how the heck they pulled of such a stunt! When things are done right they go unnoticed.
A lot of the credit goes to set designers, actors, directors and post production team, but what about the camera guys? They are the ones holding the eye that you’re looking through, and doing it while running, jumping, swinging and hanging from all sorts of dangerous contraptions! So, in order to pay homage to the cameraman, here are some amazing examples of cinematic camera movement. And this time, remember trying to watch it thinking about the dude behind the camera!
