4. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon

Affleck became friends with ten-year-old Matt Damon when he was 8. Damon and Affleck lived two blocks away from each other in Cambridge, Massachusetts. When they were older, they worked together every summer until Affleck left for LA to attend Occidental College and Damon remained in Boston to study at Harvard. Damon asked for Ben’s help in writing a screenplay for one of his theater classes. The duo worked together to write the Oscar winning screenplay for Good Will Hunting. They still remain close to this day with Affleck commenting, “having a friend you’ve been connected to since you were a little kid, that’s grounding.
