Green screen or chroma keying is a visual effects technique used for superimposing video footage on top of a different background, like a map of the weather, for example. And as many people know, Hollywood uses this technique all over the place, for many years, perfecting it to the point where nowadays you can’t tell if the scene was filmed on location or in front of a green screen, sometimes.
