U2 has announced a tour in celebration of their album The Joshua Tree, which came out 30 years ago. One stop on the tour will include the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival where they will be headlining.

The tour will kick off May 12 in Vancouver, Canada and will end August 1 in Brussels, Belgium. Bono spoke about the album in the statement that he made about the upcoming tour.

“Recently I listened back to The Joshua Tree for the first time in nearly 30 years…it’s quite an opera. A lot of emotions which feel strangely current, love, loss, broken dreams, seeking oblivion, polarization…all the greats…I’ve sung some of these songs a lot…but never all of them. I’m up for it, if our audience is as excited as we are…it’s gonna be a great night.”
