6. Chrissy Metz – ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’
Chrissy Metz considers herself overweight, and it was one of the reasons why she accepted the role of Kate – a character whose weight loss is documented on screen – on This Is Us. However, for her role as “Fat Lady” Ima Wiggles on American Horror Story: Freak Show, producers wanted her to appear even larger. When they asked her to wear a fat suit, Metz said she was “thrilled” to find out she wasn’t big enough. She also called it a “liberating” experience.
