Aubrey Plaza and Jenny Slate have signed on to the animated film project Ark and the Aardvark. Other stars that have been previously announced as voice talent include Miles Teller, Rob Riggle, and Stephen Merchant.

The movie is about an outcast aardvark who becomes the leader to a group of animals that need to get to the ark before the flood.

The film is being directed by John Stevenson of Kung Fu Panda, and executive produced by Unified’s Keith Kjarval and Kurt Rauer. Keith spoke out about the actors that they have on board.

“Miles, Aubrey, Jenny, Chris, Rob, and Stephen, are such comedic geniuses. Under the creative direction of John Stevenson, the unique characters of our film will spring to life onscreen and make a perfect film for both kids and adults alike.”
