Katherine Heigl Gives Birth to a Son

Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelly have welcomed their first son Joshua Bishop, who joins the couple with their two adopted daughters.

Katherine celebrated her baby shower in December so the party was holiday themed. She wrote on her blog about her feelings at the time.

“It is truly a magical time of year to be welcoming in new life and celebrating God’s hope for us, his faith in us, and his unconditional love. It is how all us parents feel about our children and Josh and I are no exception!”

They also shared a statement about the birth.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for us filled with hope, anticipation, and hormones. Well, only I’m filled with hormones, but everyone in the family gets to enjoy them.We couldn’t be more excited to be able to finally share this news with our fans and are looking forward to continuing to share the journey with you all.”

Katherine and Josh first met on the set of one of his music videos in 2005. They married in 2007, and then adopted their daughters in 2009 and 2012.
