Last week it was announced that Emma Stone topped the Forbes highest paid actor list. Now it has been announced that Mark Wahlberg tops the list for the men. Mark pushed out former top earner Dwayne Johnson with his $68 million earnings for the year.
Mark’s earnings came from his work on Daddy’s Home 2, Transformers: The Last Knight, and his family’s reality show Wahlburgers.
Mark’s high earnings for the year significantly topped the highest paid female. Emma Stone’s number one spot brought her $26 million, which distinctly highlights the wage gap in the entertainment industry. The top ten make actors banked a collective three times as much money as the top ten female actors did this year.
