Rihanna’s Diamond Ball raised $840,000 for charity on Thursday night. The star acted as the bartender at the event where she was joined by Dave Chapelle. Rihanna had specific intentions behind serving up the drinks herself.

“The more you drink, the more inspired you’ll be to donate money…and help kids around the world.”

Some of the celebrities on hand at the event included Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, and Trevor Noah. There was a video message shared during the event from Barack Obama who thanked Rihanna for the work that she has done with her charity, the Clara Lionel Foundation.

The foundation was named after her grandparents and promotes education and arts around the world. The foundation shared that they were quick responders to help out after Hurricane Harvey and will be helping out with the Hurricane Irma aftermath as well.
