Bethenny Frankel announced yesterday that she will be re-joining the cast for season 7 of the Real Housewives of New York City. Bethenny left the show four years ago just after she gave birth to her daughter, Bryn.

Fans are thrilled that the bluntest housewife is returning, because no one can cat-fight like Bethenny can.

Producers are also hoping her return will boost ratings. Viewership fell from 2.6 million to 1 million last season.

Bethenny admits that she will not be putting as much of her personal life on display this time. But she still wants to give women a chance to relate if they’re going through a similar situation. Bethenny underwent an ugly legal battle with her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy.

Frankel will still be promoting her SkinnyGirl empire which now includes a cocktail line, shapewear and several books. She just released a new children’s book Cookie Meets Peanut about her 4-year old daughter Bryn and her beloved dog.

The current cast members of RHONY are original housewives, Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps along with Carole Radziwill, Sonja Morgan, Kristen Taekman and Heather Thomson.

Sources are saying that Jill Zarin may make a cameo in the seventh season, but Kelly Bensimon will not be returning. We can’t wait to see Bethenny back on screen.
