Taylor Swift’s Friend Todrick Hall Calls Her ‘Sensitive’

Taylor Swift’s friend Todrick Hall has called the super star “sensitive.” He explained that Swift is extremely aware of how the public responds to her, as well as sensitive to the people in her immediate environment. He said that her awareness is very different than that of other stars like Ariana Grande and Beyonce who don’t seem to pay much attention to what anyone is saying on Instagram, “or if she, in fact, knows that she has an Instagram.”

It seems like in comparison, Swift is all ears, all the time. He referred to the quality as “humbleness.”

“Every time I bring anyone around her, to her house or anything, she can’t even have a good time because she’s making sure everyone has water, do you need anything? If I fall asleep she’s the first person to go get a blanket and put it over me… I’m like, ‘You’re going to be the best mom in the entire world,’ because she’s so thoughtful. It’s also so crazy that when I’m around other celebrities, often times, it becomes a conversation about them, and hardly ever, even at an event for Taylor, does it ever become about her.”

Hall went on to talk about a few different circumstances in particular where he saw Swift be very affected by other people. One was when comedian Tiffany Haddish mentioned a comment that a young boy had made and Swift has an immediate “energy shift.” Another thing he noticed is that last year she would hunch over whenever someone mentioned the name of her then boyfriend. Someone actually edited a photo of her doing it into Quasimodo. That was the moment that Hall felt like he needed to say something about it.

“‘You cannot turn into Quasimodo for this guy. Every time you say his name you hunch over.’ And now she’s so happy, standing up completely straight and so tall and so confident, and I just love it. I’m so, so happy for her.”

Swift is now dating Joe Alwyn and seems to be happy doing so. She is also preparing for her upcoming tour.
