You wouldn’t expect Donald Trump to stay silent while the Democratic debate was in progress, would you? The Republican presidential front-runner took to social media to live-tweet his thoughts while the debate was broadcast on Tuesday, October 13 from Las Vegas. “At the request of many,” he wrote, “and even though I expect it to be a very boring two hours, I will be covering the Democrat Debate live on twitter!” Hillary Clinton responded with her own tweet, saying “Glad you’ll be watching. It’s going to be “huge.”

The first Democratic presidential debate of the 2016 cycle was hosted by CNN and Facebook, and featured Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Jim Webb, Martin O’Malley and Lincoln Chafee facing off for the first time.
